Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory each run a homelessness line too. Their numbers are not listed here yet because those government pages block us from reading them, and this site does not publish a phone number it has not checked. Ask Izzy reaches services in all four.

Through the day

• Public libraries — free to walk into, somewhere to sit, and nobody moves you on. Five states so far.
• Public showers — every one in the national register, mapped town by town, in all eight states and territories.
• If someone asks you to move on — who can, what they must tell you, and what to do after.

If you do have a vehicle

The finder lists the closest places with a published rule that lets you stay. It is a legal map, not a bed — but on a night when nothing else is open it is better than guessing.

Why there is no list of spots

Enforcement varies street by street, and a published list of quiet places to sleep makes the people who use them easier to find. So this site publishes rules and official facilities, and nothing else.
